When one woman is empowered, the cycle of poverty can be broken within that household. When a group of women are brought together and empowered, the cycle of poverty is broken across that community. Spring Care Foundation uses the family farm school approach to impact communities with sustainable livelihoods. Strengthening the existence of common initiative groups and cooperatives, offering vocational training and start-up income for livestock production. In humanitarian situations, we work to strengthen resilience and social cohesion through sustainable interventions like building and rebuilding self-help groups and/or Savings and Internal Lending Communities (SILC) groups.
